The ACT Center is a collaboration of the Department of Psychology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and the Adult and Child Center of Indianapolis. The Center is comprised of a team of researchers, clinicians, consultants, educators, consumers, and family members who have experience in assertive community treatment (ACT) and other evidence-based mental health practices. Along with the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addition, the Center works with the National Implementing Evidence Based Practices Project to systematically prompt the use of evidence-based practices for adults with severe mental illness. Through training, research, and technical assistance, the Center strives to assist programs across the state to provide quality treatment under the provisions of the ACT standards in Indiana, DMHA policy, and the National Implementing EBP Project.
