The Center's principal aim is to encourage and nurture research in the history of medicine, primarily within Indiana University's multi-campus scholarly community whose research, teaching, and publication interests extend to the history of medicine. The Center will also accommodate researchers beyond the university's boundaries, including physicians and other para-medical personnel who want coursework and study in the history of medicine.
