The Center for Urban Policy and the Environment is a nonpartisan, non-ideological research organization in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IUPUI. Faculty and staff with expertise in program evaluation, policy analysis, facilitation, and planning work on a wide variety of policy issues. The Center's mission is to work with state and local governments and their associations, neighborhood and community organizations, community leaders, and business and civic organizations in Indiana to identify issues, analyze options, and develop the capacity to respond to challenges. Current research is focused on investment strategies to enhance quality of life in central Indiana.
