The Institute for Neural Systems and Plasticity (INSP) is an Indiana research institute, designed to study the mechanisms underlying plasticity in neural systems. The aim of the INSP will be accomplished by neuroscientists, who are currently studying various aspects of neural plasticity from different perspectives, and representatives from relevant sectors of industry to form a unique, integrative research consortium on how the nervous system achieves plasticity. The Institutes core faculty includes Indiana University researchers in the Program of Neural Sciences (PNS), kinesiology, speech and hearing, and computer science.
