The Information Technology Core supports computational aspects of research in genomics, bioinformatics, medical informatics, bioethics, and education -- areas of research that depend heavily on computation. The mission of the IT Core is to provide supercomputing, bioinformatics software, massive data storage, and advanced visualization services.
