OBJECTIVES

To provide support for research expenses to faculty holding the title of Distinguished Professor or Distinguished Professor Emeritus.

AWARD

$3000 grant to distinguished faculty, one request per year

$1500 grant to distinguished faculty emeriti, one request per year

CONDITIONS

Must be Bloomington faculty member of distinguished rank. Must submit budget and justification for approval prior to any use of awarded funds.

IUB Distinguished Professor or Distinguished Professor Emeritus only

DEADLINES

For 2008-2009: June 15, 2009

For 2009-2010: June 15, 2010

HOW TO APPLY

Send a brief memo or e-mail, specifying the amount requested; budget and justification; and explanation of how the funds will be used to support research. In addition, if you received funds last year, please send a brief progress report to:
