AWARD

Inaugurated in 1980, the Distinguished Faculty Research Lecture is a campuswide celebration, accompanied by a $3,000 stipend to support the lecturer's continuing research. The recipient will deliver their lecture in March or April 2010.

CONDITIONS

Applicants can either be self nominated or nominated by another individual.

ELIGIBILITY

This award is for IU Bloomington only.
Nominees should have a current appointment to the university (regrettably, emeritus faculty are ineligible).

DEADLINE

September 30, 2009

HOW TO APPLY

To make a nomination, please send a brief memo (address below) outlining reasons for your recommendation and a copy of your nominee's curriculum vitae. The selection committee strives to select an awardee who will deliver an excellent and generally accessible research-oriented lecture. If possible, please indicate the kind of topic and message that will likely be presented by your nominee. This question often arises during the selection process.
