Anthropologist and first-time film producer Susan Seizer has made a documentary about stand-up comics in middle America: what inspires them, what motivates them, and what makes them funny.


The “A Moment of Science” educational video series created by WTIU is now part of a PBS Digital Studios original video series. The Bloomington-based WTIU television station is one of the first in the nation to work with the Public Broadcasting Service on the new initiative.

The first and still only woman to receive the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences, Ostrom is remembered for her groundbreaking career that spanned more than 50 years.
